The Prevalent Institute

The Prevalent Institute is a Professional Beauty School. Educating and building the community through career development, essential experiences, state licensing, and advance certifications, with a holistic approach. The Prevalent was founded in 2021 and became state board approved in 2022. Becoming the first African American owned school in Columbia, SC, that offers all three license programs approved by the board of cosmetology.
